Rob’s
Reflections
We
are about to celebrate the Advent of Christ. Each year we go through a period
marking the birth of Jesus, who becomes for us the Christ.
I’m
sure we all have some fond memories of Christmases past. It is my hope that
some of those can be recreated this year, with all the joy, thanksgiving and
hope you felt in years gone by. For me it’s a time for family, giving and
receiving.
It’s
also a time for reflection, especially around the question, “What is the
meaning of Jesus’ birth, death and resurrection for me?” Make these next few
weeks a time of lifting up your thanks to God for the gift of his Son.
